Additional Tickets for the Museum of Ice Cream will go on sale beginning Thursday at 9am.
The Museum of Ice Cream is more like an artsy treat for the senses. It's a temporary exhibition that was originally scheduled to open through August 29 but due to popular demand, the museum has extended its run through June. Tickets will likely sell out again but who can blame the crowds for wanting a peak of this whimsy and delightfully sweet fun house!?
Guests are escorted into the museum by a 'sweet' leader dressed in pink. People enter in groups of 8-10 visitors, which allows for a more intimate look at all things candy.
There are giant-sized gummy bears, chocolate-smelling mint plants, a collection of white syrup dispensers, pink palm trees, a swing installation surrounded by 'scratch & sniff' wallpaper plus a 4 foot pool of sprinkles. Did I mention ice cream and candy samples are distributed in nearly every room!?
Here Benny enjoys a Mint & Chip Mochi Ice Cream |
My son Benny was literally like a kid in a candy store. He was beyond excited-- giggling, jumping and enjoying samples of ice cream and gummy bears. He even got to pretend to 'swim' in hundreds of thousands of pretend sprinkles (anti-microbial plastics).
We can safely say, we had the sweetest day ever!
I walked out singing to the tune of Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory:
"Come with me and you'll be in a world of pure imagination..."
Friends, if you're interested in buying a ticket, make sure to check out the Museum of Ice Cream website. Additional museum tickets will be sold beginning April 27 at 9am.
Have a Sweet Day and thanks for reading!
