In case you're still trying to figure out what to bring to the highly-anticipated 4th of July party, here's an idea that's sweet and simple-- strawberry shortcakes with condensed milk and strawberry ice cream syrup.
You add whipped cream, a large strawberry and a festive straw so you can enjoy the condensed milk and syrup before the shortcake fully absorbs it.
It takes about 5 minutes to prepare these, as long as you purchase premade shortcake shells, of course.
