A Deadly Workout in Zurich

It was a gorgeous setting that provided some pretty steep hills
My husband has a ‘NO EXCUSE’ approach to working out.

He exercises very hard every. single. day. and my goal is to be his female equivalent when it comes to keeping up…but never while on vacation, in Europe!!!

Needless to say, I was a good sport on several occasions, especially when I felt the baguettes and croissants beginning to creep up around the problem areas.

I agreed to workout and give it my best since, after all, our goal is to inspire Benny to be a physically active boy—by example.

In Zurich we had a mega workout that started with a 5-mile run through hills and woods and ended with a 200+ stair climb. Running through the woods was kinda’ eerie. There was a kind of tension in the air that we couldn’t figure out. Almost as if someone was running behind us. I seriously get the chills just thinking about it.

Once we got done with our workouts, we spoke with locals who were curious about why he had chosen that area as a running location.

“It’s a cemetery,” they told us.

There were rows upon rows of trees and a very deep silence all around

The faster he ran, the more I pushed to stay close!

Benny was happy all along!

This tower made my legs sore for weeks

I never thougt I'd reach the top

But I finally did!!
