That's what actress Nia Long told us Friday morning during a roundtable interview for the upcoming premier of Tyler Perry's The Single Moms Club, opening in theaters on Friday, March 14.
She was referring to the struggles and the strength a woman must endure when raising a child alone, but she also highlighted that everyone knows someone in that challenging and oftentimes difficult situation.
Long, who you may remember for playing Will Smith's girlfriend "Lisa" in The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, is one of five lovely actresses who was cast to play a single mother in this PG-13 comedy.
The other four ladies: Amy Smart, Cocoa Brown, Wendi McLendon-Covey and Zulay Henao, all of them gorgeous and down-to-earth, were also present during the interview.
The chemistry shared between the actresses was palpable, especially because as comedian and actress Cocoa Brown stated, there's "not a diva in the bunch!".

She arrived to greet us with an aura of great energy and fresh humor.
She shared that she was going through divorce during the filming of the movie and in an attempt to hide personal emotions, she was trying a little too hard to get into her role until Tyler Perry stopped her.
He pulled her off to the side one day and recommended she "use that pain" through her acting.
From that point on, her character took off and if our early morning laughs with Brown are any indication, she promises to deliver a stellar performance.
The Single Moms Club is a Liongsgate and Tyler Perry Production about five women from different backgrounds and cultures who form a club as a haven for support and a shoulder to cry on.
It's sure to entertain audiences with humor, heartfelt sentiments and an overall understanding that as women, we're all stronger when we come together.
I'm fortunate to be happily married with a great guy...but this movie is sure to entertain and inspire single and married mommies alike!

Eso fue lo que nos dijo la actriz Nia Long el viernes por la mañana durante una entrevista que concedió en anticipación del estreno de la película de Tyler Perry “Single Moms Club” o el Club de las Madres Solteras, cuya apertura en los cines será el viernes 14 de marzo.
Ella se refería a la lucha y la fuerza que una mujer vive cuando cría a un hijo sola, pero también señaló el hecho de que todo el mundo conoce a alguien en esa situación difícil y muchas veces difícil.

personaje se lanzó de tal manera que si las risas que compartimos con Brown
durante la entrevista son una indicación, no cabe duda que vas a reír mucho
cuando veas la película.
La
película trata de mujeres de diferentes orígenes y culturas que forman el Club
de madres solteras como un refugio para ayudarse y apoyarse. Promete ofrecerle
al público muchas risas, sentimientos profundos y una comprensión en general
que, como mujeres, todas somos más fuertes cuando nos unimos!
Me siento afortunda de estar felizmente casada, pero estoy segura de que esta película entretendrá tanto a las madres soleteras como a las casadas.
