Irene & Emmanuel's Dreamy Holiday Wedding

To say my sister’s wedding was incredibly romantic & dreamy is not saying enough.

Irene’s big day was a treat for the senses.

To begin with, she looked gorgeous— a flawless, timeless beauty.

UPDATE: As of 2016, Irene is no longer married (but that's actually a GREAT thing for her and our entire family). I'm just thrilled her ex is out of the picture...best thing ever. And for that reason, I have decided to remove any and all pictures of him here.
But I digress. 
I decided to keep this post because nothing can take away the uniqueness of seeing my beautiful sister in her exquisite white gown.

At the Camarillo Ranch House, guests enjoyed Tequila, cervezas and Margaritas, all while listening to live Mariachi music.

We welcomed the newlyweds to the reception hall by shaking maracas joyfully as the two walked up to have their first dance. 

When we sat down for dinner, we enjoyed a festive and colorful Ballet Folklorico performance.

But it was the overall romantic setting and Vintage Mexico feel of the wedding that made everything come together, just as Irene had envisioned.

This "vision" included Mexican tissue paper banners, a Mexican dessert buffet with Flan, Pan Dulce, and an assortment of Mexican candy and a special tribute to the couple’s late relatives.

It was so inspiring that at one point I hugged my husband and asked him to marry me again!

Decir que la boda de mi hermana fue romántica y una boda de ensueño quizá no sea suficiente.

Más bien creo apropiado describir su boda como una delicia para los cinco sentidos.Para empezar, Irene se veía preciosa, una belleza clásica e intemporal.Y su marido es muy bien parecido así que cuando salieron de la Iglesia del Padre Serra en Camarillo, CA, después de la ceremonia católica, los recién casados ​​lucían resplandecientes.En el lugar de la recepción, los invitados disfrutamos de Tequila, Cerveza y Margaritas mientras se escuchaban las canciones del Mariachi tocando.Le dimos la bienvenida a la feliz pareja con maracas mientras caminaban hacia la pista para su primer baile como marido y mujer. Cuando nos sentamos a cenar, disfrutamos de un espectacular ballet Folklórico muy festivo y colorido.Pero fue el ambiente romántico que llevaba consigo un aire de antaño lo que hizo que la boda se realizará tal como Irene lo había imaginado.Su visión incluyó decoraciones de papel picado, rosas frescas y una mesa de postres con flan, pan dulce y un surtido de dulces mexicanos. También le hicieron homenaje a los familiares fallecidos.

Pero lo más impresionante fue la oportunidad de palpar el amor que los recién casados sienten, el uno por el otro. ¡Fue algo tan inspirador que abracé a mi marido y le pedí que se casara conmigo otra vez!

Después de hacer eso, me di cuenta que esta boda seria una de las mas memorables en mi vida.
