Who says mommies can’t match their little boys?
Right when I start thinking Benny’s getting older and I should better stop dressing him as my twin to avoid him embarrassment later in life, I find clothing items for mommy and son that match perfectly!
Take these mustard cardigans, for example. I found them both at H&M and mustard is one of those unisex colors that never goes out of style. If Paul and I decide to go for Baby #2 one day, Benny’s sibling will be able to wear this little cardigan regardless of gender, although if we have a girl, she would have to wear it over a white dress with gold polka dots (smiles).
This past weekend, we had tons of errands to run and the Fall weather is finally showing signs in L.A. so we put on blue jeans, white collared shirts, mustard cardigans and tan-colored boots (Mine are from Aldo, Benny's are made by Cherokee and sold at Target).
My necklace was a cute little purchase from Viva La Jewels and one that Benny tried pulling on many times. Hehehe.

¿Quién dijo que las mamás no pueden combinar la ropa con sus hijos?
Justo cuando empiezo a considerar que Benny va creciendo y ya debería dejar de vestirlo como mi gemelo para evitarle vergüenzas más tarde en la vida, encuentro artículos de ropa para mamá e hijo que coinciden perfectamente!
Tomen estos suéteres de color mostaza por ejemplo. Los encontré en la tienda de ropa H&M y el color mostaza es uno de esos colores unisex que nunca pasa de moda. Si mi marido y yo decidimos tener otro bebé un día, el hermanito o hermanita de Benny podrá usar este pequeño suéter, aunque si tenemos una niña, ella tendría que llevarlo sobre un vestido blanco con bolitas de dorado (sonrisas) .
Este fin de semana pasado, tuvimos un montón de cosas qué hacer y el clima de otoño finalmente mostró señal en Los Ángeles, así que nos pusimos pantalón de mezclilla, camisas con cuello blanco, suéteres de color mostaza y botas de color “gris topo” (Las mías son de la tienda Aldo. Las de Benny son fabricadas por Cherokee y están de venta en la Target).
Mi collar fue un accesorio lindo que compré del sitio Viva La Jewels y uno que Benny intentó jalar muchas veces. Jejeje.
